My Recent UX Projects

Full research and stories included.

City Cycles

Who Is City Cycles
City Cycles is a bike rental program that sought my help for identifying issues in their bike rental program, and for designing a solution.
Their Objective
City Cycles lacked a fully-functioning online booking system, and in its’ place, had a form to request a rental. This led users astray in multiple ways - some thought they were renting a bike by filling out the form, and it left others so confused that they preferred calling to book - inefficiently consuming employee’s time.

Dorothy Delong

Who Is Dorothy Delong
Dorothy Delong is a conceptual photographer who specializes in raw, candid art.
Their Objective
Dorothy needed help streamlining and simplifying the process for website visitors to contact her about her work.

Stirner Tactical Concepts

Who Is Stirner Tactical
Stirner Tactical Solutions is a local firearms instructor with a wide variety of training skillsets and certifications.
Their Objective
Stirner Tactical Solutions needed a website that clarified the process for people to select, and purchase the right firearms training classes for them. When users visited their website to book a course, they didn’t have all the information they needed to confidently proceed, resulting in lost potential clients.

UX/UI Designer Bootcamp Certificate

While being a jack of all trades is fun, I wanted to be more than a master of none. UX/UI seemed like the obvious choice, as it combines my love of technology design, psychology research and everything in the boot camp really solidified that belief: user interviews, journey mapping and information architecture have been fascinating highlights. Prior to this, I completed a front-end development certificate.

Front End Development Bootcamp Certificate

This was a great learning experience that launched me into my technical career, and got my foot in the door at for my first tech job at iPoint where I worked as a website developer and digital marketing specialist. This program focused on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. While coding may no longer be a primary part of my job, it gave me a key understanding to how websites work, and the power to customize experiences further.

Lead Customer Service & Operations Specialist

I view my three years in banking support as my first role in User Research. By guiding customers through autofill failures and navigation friction, I gained a firsthand understanding of user mental models. I specialized in de-escalating high-friction moments, translating complex technical hurdles into clear, calm guidance for frustrated users. Hot Take: call centers are a huge untapped data resource for understanding product confusion.
